Hai Rayati! Laurels unto your noble brows for the excellent work of this site. One correction, if I may make so bold. On your page detailing the circumstances leading up to the Great Campaign of Most Honoured Queen Myrine the First you refer to the Isle on which she was born as Hesperis. Properly this should be Hespera (Hesperis is the name of a month): but this is quite a late name, acquired at a time after the Deluge, when this island (still an Amazon stronghold) was considered to be the Far West of the ("Old") World. At the time we are speaking of - the campaigns of the early Myrines and before - the island had a name that has come down to us as Tritonia (I have heard that the original form was Kanja, but they mean the same thing, and Tritonia will do). This name means "conch" and this name was later transferred to the great inland lake on the island. The conch is a very fundamental symbol of ancient feminine tradition, and to this day the Great Hymn to Mahalakshmi describes Her as "Holder of Conch, Disk and Mace" and as "Mounted on the back of [the Great Eagle] Garuda". [Note - in the picture above, She is mounted on the Eagle and carrying Disk and Conch. The Disk, or Chakram means "Abayam - I protect you, don't fear" and the Conch, "Varatha Karam - I grant your wishes"]. You can find the full text of the Great Hymn here together with a detailed explanation of the feminine-metaphysical meaning of the Conch. It is a small point, honoured sisters and certainly not intend to detract from your great enterprise, only to perfect it. To call Tritonia Hespera at this stage in its history is an anachronism, while its actual name is an important and valuable part of our great Amazon tradition and culture. I give you reverence.
